Dr. Kellen P. Schweitzer, D.C.

Dr. Schweitzer was raised in Holly, CO, a small town in rural southeast Colorado. Having come from a family of care providers, Dr. Schweitzer always knew that he wanted to be in the health care field. Upon graduating high school, he attended West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with emphasis on pre professional studies for Chiropractic College. After graduation he took a year off from school and worked as a laboratory and radiology technician at a local hospital. He then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS, where he received his doctorate degree in chiropractic with Summa Cum Laude honors. He was also named to Pi Tau Delta: Chiropractic National Honor Society alongside graduating Valedictorian of his class.
Along with his doctorate degree, Dr. Schweitzer received his certification in Meridian Therapy (Acupuncture) and attended many hours of advanced training in other specialties such as ICPA: International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (Webster Technique), Graston Technique, an evidence-based form of Instrumented-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and has completed the required coursework for his Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI).
Our mission at Front Range Family Health & Chiropractic, is to provide people of all ages in Northern Colorado with a natural, alternative healthcare option that focuses on achieving optimum health and wellness. Dr. Schweitzer integrates a whole-body approach to health and wellness. This approach focuses on finding the underlying source of a current issue or a potential future disturbance. Necessary steps are then taken through various treatment options including multiple chiropractic adjusting techniques, rehabilitation, nutritional counseling, acupuncture and massage to get and keep a person well.
Dr. Schweitzer’s interests include golfing, fishing, cars, mountain drives, family walks, spending time on his family’s farm and doing anything with his wife, Abby and three kids, Kynlee, Everly & Boston and their dogs, Luna & Storm.
